How does CityLife work?

    Sign up, set your home country and city, then style your look at home: outfit, hair, shoes and more.

    Start with ₦1,000,000.

    Walk to the dealership and buy your first ride, from a scooter to a fast car. Everything you own shows on your profile under My Properties.

    Explore Lagos.

    Ride through Ikeja, Oshodi, Yaba, Third Mainland Bridge and Victoria Island. When you reach the end, pick your next district and keep exploring.

    Take on missions.

    There are 13 city activities: deliver packages and food, hunt for money bags, join a street dance, answer the Lagos City Quiz, catch a bag snatcher, rush a patient to hospital, rescue kidnap victims, and stop armed robbers. Some start by themselves; others you can accept or pass.

    Ride smart.

    Collect cash on the road, keep your tank full and obey the police, red lights and zebra crossings. Fines cost you money.

    Bank your earnings.

    What you earn on a tour is banked when the tour ends. Get caught by armed robbers and you lose half of that tour's earnings, never your savings.

    Meet people.

    Meet real players on the road, add friends, chat and share your tours on the City Timeline.

    Whot, Race and more: pay the entry and win 2x, 5x or 10x.

    Your wealth sets your class, shown beside your name: Poor, Struggling, Okay, Comfortable, Rich, Rich-Plus, Super-Rich and Wealthy. Climb the Most Explored and Highest Earners leaderboards.

    CityLife is built to turn your skill and time into real value:

    • Challenge Mode: play Whot, Race and the City Quiz against real players for CL-Cash, our real-money wallet, and withdraw your winnings to your bank or mobile money.
    • Real offers: local shops advertise in the city. Visit them from the road and grab their deals.
    • Become Wealthy: reach ₦1 billion and unlock Cash Assets: buy them with your virtual money, they earn you more and you can sell them any time. Coming soon.
    • Buying and owning properties: properties bring you more income. Start with petrol stations and hospitals; in the future you will also be able to own churches, mosques and many other assets that earn you more.
    • A place in the Hall of Fame: get famous and be seen by everyone in the city, and use it to promote your brand, business and events to everyone in the city for free.
    • The CityLife Gold Card: real-life meet-ups and all-expenses-paid trips.

    Every reward is set and checked on our server, never on your phone.

  • One account per person

    Do not share, sell or transfer your account.

    Anyone can play. Under-18s cannot use Challenge Mode or betting.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. CityLife is free to play. Challenge Mode, where you play other players for real money, is optional and 18+ only.

Do I need to download anything?

No. CityLife runs in your phone or computer browser. You can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.

Is the naira real?

No. The ₦ in the game is virtual: Virtual ₦ cannot be withdrawn. CL-Cash is the real-money wallet.

What can I withdraw?

Only CL-Cash you win in Challenge Mode, to your bank or mobile money from the Wallet. Virtual ₦ can never be withdrawn or turned into cash. Reach Wealthy and unlock Cash Assets: buy them with your virtual money, they earn you more and you can sell them any time. Coming soon.

How long does it take to become Wealthy?

It takes real dedication: we expect at least 50 days of very active play to reach ₦1 billion.

Which cities?

Lagos now. London is next.

Can under-18s play?

Yes, anyone can sign up and play. Under-18s cannot use Challenge Mode or betting.
